2012 Fox Hunt

Seeing as it has been almost a month I guess the blog is due for some updates. In early May, the organization Tate works for, The Global Orphan Project, held their annual 5K Fun Run/Fox Hunt. This was their 3rd year to put on the run & each year keeps getting better & better. This year there was not only a DJ & Chris Cakes, but bounce houses that were enjoyed by all. It was great to see some of the faces that support GO Project regularly, as well as meet new ones that have now supported GO Project by running or walking. There were over 300 people in attendance & it was a perfect day for a run!

Papa Fox at the start line talking to the masses.

Run Foxy, Run! He took his grandson with him for moral support along the way.

Everyone else was released 2 minutes later and I believe there were over 20 people that were able to catch up with the Fox! Pretty impressive running!

Couldn't help but include the lovely running pictures of Tate & Derek. Such a great series.

The Fox crossing the finish line after a long hard race. Tara managed to catch him right at the very end!

The GO Babies at 29 weeks. We cheered from the sidelines and helped to make the run go smoothly. Or really sat in a central location and watched the world go by :)

Also, we got a quick visit from Tate's sister Tonia (T#5) & husband. Unfortunately I am bad at taking pictures and this is the only one from their time here. We really enjoyed seeing them and it was fun to explore our city a bit with them.
