A New Addition

May 14th, 2012 we welcomed a new set of feet into out home. Due to privacy concerns, we are not able to put any pictures of her face on the internet, but she has some pretty cute feet! She is a little fighter in more ways than one and it is a miracle that she is still alive. We are enjoying getting to know her little personality and love on her while we have her in our home.

She is a busy busy bee and loves to be on the move. F is a smart little cookie and in less than 3 weeks in our home she learned 3 signs, which makes communication much more pleasant :) We are learning many things along side her including putting all this parenting knowledge into practice. This time around with only 1 placement was much easier to handle and adjust to, and we are now preparing to have 2 in our home in a few short weeks.

These little feet helped us feel a bit of what having a toddler and a newborn will be like. The weekend after we welcomed F into our home we were scheduled to keep our friends' precious little "borrowed" baby. We had a very eventful weekend and enjoyed being a little family of 4.

One of the big events of the weekend was The GO Project's first big Adopt KC event. GO Project held a farm party south of Kansas City to help kick off Adopt KC. There were many churches that came out to help and families that brought kids to enjoy the party. I will not do a very good job at describing exactly what Adopt KC is so I will link you to here and here to read more about what The Global Orphan Project is doing in Kansas City & this also happens to be what has been keeping Tate busy for about the last year.

This is a view I could get used to :) Getting some practice in with our sweet double stroller and keeping the little ones happy. It was a good weekend and we are reassured that it can be done & we will be just fine with a toddler and an infant.... as long as we keep moving & praying  :)
