Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial day weekend we took a trip up to Chicago to see friends & family. It was a wonderful trip & baby was spoiled at his/her 2nd shower. It was a wonderful time of hanging out with Tate's side of the family as well as a few friends and my sister-in-law on my side.

We got to see baby Logan for a second time and he has GROWN in the last 2 months. We were able to visit Logan, Evan and Carolyn in the hospital at only a day old so it was fun to see him again and hang out with the new parents who have adjusted well to parenthood. It just makes my heard melt seeing these boys all grown up into men pushing babies around :)

One thing about having a shower thrown for you is that you don't have much time to hang out in the corner and take pictures. You will have to take my word for it that the room was full of wonderful women and we had a great time eating, playing games & chatting. Maria & Amber were kind enough to host the shower at Maria's house & if there wasn't enough going on, while baby was showered with gifts, her Dad (& shortly following the shower her Mom) was busy giving the house a fresh coat of paint. We are very grateful that Maria was given leave from painting duty to host the party :)

My eldest brother & his wife were able to make it up to Wheaton to visit for the weekend from Indianapolis. It was great getting to see them and hang out, especially because they live 10+ hours away and we rarely get to see them. Thanks for driving up to hang out with us and thanks for the car seat so we can one day bring baby to see you... or meet in St. Louis :)

Enjoying beautiful downtown Wheaton where we had our first date to walk and get coffee (back when I hated coffee and was too nice to tell him that :) & many many more dates to study after that one (dates in which I learned to LOVE coffee).

We met up with family on Sunday and got to enjoy some pool time with the parent, siblings, nieces & nephews. Our little one enjoyed some sunshine & flowers following Sunday lunch before heading to get into her adorable swimsuit & swim shoes that Mama Abby aka Buggy just couldn't resist.

We had a great time hanging out with all our friends and family and little F enjoyed meeting everyone and being welcomed into the Williams family. Baby Williams aka #31 can't wait to meet you all!!!
