Independence Baby Shower

Over the weekend a few ladies from my home church threw baby its first shower. It was great to get to see everyone and to hear how everyone knew me. The majority of the people at the shower have known me since I was in my Mama's tummy. So fun to see the generations come full circle and great to be surrounded by the faces I remember from my childhood teaching me Sunday School lessons & making delicious dishes for potlucks. My Mom, Grandmother and 2 aunts were also able to come to the shower. It is great to be close enough to home to come in for a weekend and see friends and family on a regular basis.

2 of the fabulous hostesses. Thanks again for the wonderful shower!!

Baby's first quilt made by its Great Grandmother. Exchangeable for the correct color if necessary ;)

The super cute cake made by Judith, one of the wonderful women who helped raise me.

3 Generations with a 4th on the way!

The 28 week baby bump. I'm working on growing one healthy baby!

While the girls are away the boys will play... or work. Insulation & dry wall on kitchen ceiling of my parents' rental house- check!

We also go to go to a going away picnic for my Uncle who is going active duty in the military for a year in North Carolina. Good excuse for a party!

Our GROWING family!
