I am super behind, but was convicted to get caught up on blogging and to stay on top of writing about our lives. Well over a month ago now we met up with all of Tate's immediate family (all 50+ of them!) in Nebo, Illinois at a fun lodge for the weekend. For those of you who don't know, Tate is from a large-ish family so get-togethers are a bit of a production. This one involved renting out a whole lodge and part of another lodge to house everyone, and even still there were nephews sleeping in a tent (well for a few minutes at least...) and a few kiddos sleeping in pack-n-plays in random places like bathrooms :)
Unfortunately I was 9 months pregnant, fighting a nasty cold and came down with pink eye as we were driving to Illinois so the weekend was not as enjoyable for me as I hoped it would be. I did a lot of hanging out inside with my feet up and enjoyed chatting with family members we don't get to see often. Tate & Little F got to enjoy lots of playing outside with the nieces & nephews, a hay rack ride through the wilderness of Illinois and F even got to "ride" a horse. All in all it was a great weekend and fun to catch up with the family.

One huge item on the agenda for the weekend was getting a family picture while everyone was together. The paparazzi turned out for the event and was hiding in the woods... on no wait that is just Teren setting up for the photo WAY back there to get the shot wide enough!
