Thanksgiving & the 1st Annual Black Friday Belch- er- Run

Once again I am going to attempt to blog. More pictures, less writing and maybe I will actually be able to keep up? Ignore the 4 month gap & hopefully one day I will go back and fill it in.

Bridger's 1st Thanksgiving. He got a traditional Belcher family Thanksgiving at his Great Grandparent's house with lots of Mommy's cousins and Aunts & Uncles. He also got to hang out with his Aunt & Uncles more which he really enjoyed :)

We Belchers are VERY serious about our pies

Bridger got his first food at Thanksgiving dinner. Mashed Potatoes. Yum!!
Here goes nothing! First bite!

I don't know about this...

What was that?!?!

More please!

Little F LOVED all the attention and warmed up quickly to all the new faces. She also really likes pumpkin pie.

Horrible lighting, but Nathan & Bridger totally planned their outfits to coordinate.

My awesome brother Isaac took our family photos. Unfortunately I can't show the really awesome one of all 4 of us that he got but here are a few that I can show.

Instead of Black Friday crazy shopping, our family decided to start a new tradition of having a family 5K Run. It got us all up and out of the house, and there isn't really anywhere to shop besides Walmart & Ace anyway so there is not much going on in Southeast Kansas on Black Friday morning.

My brother Isaac & his wife Jessica organized the race & made it official with a marked course, run t-shirts & awards at the end!

And the winner was the Cross Country star of the family Isiah!

Or was it Isaac?

On no! The tragedy! The young rising star is defeated by the 30 year old!

A few of the finishers that I caught. Turns out we have lots of runners in this family!

Ahhh attach of the furry beast!

No wait, 2 furry beasts!

Getting a little drink after a long run :)

The most enthusiastic bunch!

Grandmother handing out the awards. They ranged from Perfect Attendance for a 5th grade class all the way to 2nd place in the Indianapolis Adventure Race.

Little F enjoyed Daddy Tate's Taylor University medal he won.

It was a great time hanging out with the family and a fun  new tradition was started. So glad we got to see everyone & the kids got to hang out with most of the family!
