Aren't they cute?! This is a group of orphans that recently had a New York Times article written about them. They are a group that formed shortly after the earthquake. They have little to no supplies or funding, and have been getting the run around by a few different organizations, all of whom do not want to take responsibility for them. Tate had the oportunity to visit them yesterday and hear more of their story. We aren't sure exactly what is going to happen, but keep them in your prayers. I will keep you updated as I find out more, until then you can read their story here.
On another note, 60 minutes is re-broadcasting "The Lost Children of Haiti" which is a special on GOP's work in Haiti. This was taped in February during part of the time that Tate was there volunteering and there may be some new updates included this time. It gives a good overview of what GOP is all about so make sure to Tivo/DVR/watch it the old fashioned way. Sunday July 11 @ 6pm central time. Invite all your friends & family over to see the amazing stuff that is happening in Haiti!
